Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My Mother passing the torch and my goal as a HUD Housing Participant for many years to become self sufficient and successful like many HUD Housing Participants today. I worked hard so my children wouldn’t need HUD Housing assistance but become entrepreneurs (Financial/Mental Health, HR Independent Contractor & Barber/Loc Master)

How do you stay motivated?

People living in low income housing and participating in the section 8 housing programs in need keeps me motivated. Especially when we get to resolve their issues together and prevent eviction or termination from the program until they are ready to leave and become a private market renter, homeowner, and or entrepreneur.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Reinstate my business, pay expenses for my Saving Our Homes and Taking Back Our Communities RV Tour and create tenant orientation. After being diagnosed with breast cancer and being hospitalized, I had to delay but I am much better now and ready to travel to meet our Faces of HUD Housing Facebook group members wanting to know how to help others Save their housing & organize in their counties. Also make an impact doing what they are already doing or what they yearn to do to help others some
