Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I was inspired by my doctoral supervisor and my family. Together, we have worked across laboratories and industry to develop these products. Our 10-year journey has strengthened my commitment to bring them to market. With the current climate challenges, the demand for sustainable, high-quality protein is more urgent than ever. Consumers need plant-based options that are not only nutritious with complete amino acids and high bioavailability but also tasty, crunchy, and convenient.

How do you stay motivated?

From our earliest brainstorming sessions, we were clear that we would only commercialize this idea if we could truly achieve our original vision. We have refined it through experimentation and learning and our core desire has never changed. It’s this persistence that keeps us pushing toward making it a commercial success.

What would you do with the $25,000?

1) Develop flavors for each category, delivering 23–24g protein per 100g, with a satisfying crunch in your favorite flavor. 2) Set up production & operations such as packaging, analysis etc. 3) Build a strong seller market through our own website and quick commerce platforms, supported by focused advertising and marketing.
