Free RegistrationWhat inspires me is my culture. I’m an entrepreneurial artist who shares Native stories in a theatrical way and I host workshops based on Indigenous Ecological Knowledge. I’m also an actor with an agency. Before this, I worked as a Graphic Operator at a mainstream media broadcast company, but I left to pursue a real artist’s career. At the time, no clear vision. I just knew I had to make the move. Months later, I tapped into my Native heritage that changed everything.
How do you stay motivated? My culture keeps me grounded, especially during tough times. Cultural practices remind me of my “why” and my purpose. I also make sure to take breaks between projects. That helps me reset, stay focused, and avoid burnout. This question is so important because without a clear purpose and/or trusting the process, it’s easy to quit or lose direction.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest part of it into the future of our sanctuary, and the rest would go toward building and maintaining a website with our own domain. I’d also use funds to complete the nonprofit formation process and cover essential legal protections like trademark and copyright filings, to safeguard our name, educational materials, and creative work. Any remaining money would be spent directly on wildlife rehabilitation. Things like food, supplies, habitat, and basic care for orphaned Raccoo
