Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration was to be a part of the growing movement toward sustainable small scale agriculture. Through that, I built a restaurant with my closest friend to develop that goal into one of service and engagement by creating the unique experience of enjoying the most exquisite food grown by our very own hands.

How do you stay motivated?

Knowing that change is inevitable, and what we're doing has meaning keeps us driving forward. Building a model where small scale agriculture, coupled with a fine dining experience, can not only positively impact the environment and the local economy, but also be financially sustainable; putting the power back in the hands of the people who grow our food.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We would invest the $25,000 to share our story, to let more people know what we're doing, why we do it, and how it can be reproduced. We would use the $25,000 so that other people can do what we have done, and help change the landscape of small scale agriculture from one of submission to consolidation and debt to a competitive and thriving section of the agricultural industry.
