Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my parents and my faith. My father built projects that served his community, my mother built her own business through discipline and perseverance. They taught me that a vision becomes real when you act consistently. Today I am drawn to entrepreneurs who empower others. That is why I wrote my book, created JBM's Shop, and built Créative Co., a toolkit helping entrepreneurs launch their ideas with structure.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering the mission: entrepreneurship is not about success for me, it's about building tools and opportunities that help others move from ideas to action. Discipline, faith, and continuous learning keep me grounded. When things are difficult and they are ,I remember that every small step I take today becomes a foundation for something bigger tomorrow. My book, my businesses, my clients' wins, they're all proof of that principle.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use this investment to build a physical retail space for JBM's Shop, a blazer brand built on one belief: a woman who dresses with intention shows up differently. Online has limits. That experience needs to happen in person. Through Créative Co., I'd host workshops teaching women to brand, launch, and grow, where isolation becomes momentum. The $25,000 is the first investment in a larger vision. One already in motion.
