Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the idea that creativity can become ownership. Entrepreneurship has always been part of who I am, and the beauty industry became the vehicle that allowed me to turn that mindset into real opportunities. Building something from the ground up showed me that skills many people overlook can actually become powerful businesses. That realization drives me to help other creatives see their talent differently and build structured, profitable businesses.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the impact entrepreneurship can have on families and communities. As a mother and entrepreneur, I’m passionate about showing the next generation that creativity, discipline, and vision can create real ownership and opportunity. Every step I take in building my businesses is also about creating pathways for others, whether that’s through products, mentorship, or educational programs that help people turn their skills into sustainable businesses.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning $25,000 would allow me to scale the foundation of my beauty business by increasing production of my hair growth oil and growing my educational programs like braid camps and training opportunities. I would also use the funding to expand my studio space, creating opportunities for other beauty professionals to build their businesses while learning structure, strategy, and real entrepreneurship.
