Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the special needs community; especially nonverbal individuals whose voices often go unheard. As a caregiver to my daughter Raven and my parents, I've seen the strength, resilience, and love within the community. RavenCareWear was created to turn that lived experience into advocacy through this purpose-driven t-shirt brand. Every design represents dignity, inclusion, and the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and respected.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the families and caregivers who tell me my shirts make them feel seen. Caregiving can be isolating and I know that feeling personally. When someone says a RavenCareWear design gave them confidence or helped start a conversation about disability, it reminds me why I started. My daughter, Raven, and the entire special needs community, inspire me to keep going because they matter too.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to scale RavenCareWear so our message of inclusion reaches more people. The funds would help expand inventory, improve marketing, attend disability conferences and expos, and pursue retail opportunities in hospital gift shops and major stores. My goal is to grow RavenCareWear into a nationally recognized brand that not only sells tshirt designs, but also advocates for dignity, visibility, and respect for the disability community.
