Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My parents were my first inspiration, building a computer in Cuba from donated parts showed me what resilience and resourcefulness look like. Professionally, I’m inspired by builders who solve real problems, not just chase trends. I respect founders who stay close to the work, listen to customers, and create lasting value, especially in industries like cybersecurity where trust and impact matter.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by progress and purpose. Coming from Cuba, I’ve seen what limited opportunity looks like, so I don’t take access for granted. Building companies like CYBEAR and Datagrasp keeps me driven because I know the impact is real. I also set clear goals, keep learning, and surround myself with people who push me to grow. Momentum is everything, once I start moving, I don’t stop.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it directly into scaling Datagrasp by accelerating product development and expanding go-to-market efforts. Specifically, enhancing automation, AI-assisted assessments, and customer onboarding while funding targeted marketing to reach compliance-driven organizations. The goal is simple: turn that capital into a multiplier that helps more companies simplify security and compliance while growing sustainably.
