Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My children are my greatest inspiration in business. I grew up with very little, which drives me to create a different future for my family. As a mother of three and a military spouse, I’ve learned resilience and determination. I want my children to see that with hard work and belief in yourself, you can build something meaningful. My hope is that the business I’m building today creates opportunity for our family and maybe one day becomes something they are proud to carry forward.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the impact my work has on others. Supporting members of my local military community is incredibly meaningful to me, and knowing I can provide a space where people feel valued keeps me driven. Watching my team grow in confidence and skill, while seeing my business continue to evolve, excites me every day and pushes me to keep striving for more.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would invest it directly into the expansion of my salon in the future. The funding would help cover essential build-out costs, equipment, and additional stations to support our growing team. This expansion will allow us to create more opportunities for stylists, better serve our community, and continue growing a business that supports both our team and our clients.
