Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’ve always had a passion to help others reach their goals and a vision to open a women’s gym but after giving birth to my third child and experiencing postpartum depression, I realized just how hard it is to accomplish a goal when your mind isn’t in the right place and your support system is small (or nonexistent). My personal experience has inspired me to help achieve optimal health, by creating a safe and supportive community that empowers, educates and encourages women.

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated to accomplish this goal is not too hard for me because it’s more like a burning desire. During the day I find myself thinking about what I can add or do to make my business better, at night I dedicate 1 hour to work towards it, I wake up in the middle of the night to check if its morning yet because I'm excited to start the day, I pray about it often and when I close my eyes, I can see it. What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000 I would use it to open my women’s wellness centre. The centre includes child care, children clothing, a group fitness studio, a waxing room and a room for counselling/ wellness coaching. In order to have all of these amenities inside of one location it would have to be a decent size and the rent would be high. Winning the $25,000 would take care of first, last and 2 extra months rent.
