Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My son is my purpose. After losing his mom at 10, I raised and coached him in football and basketball. Then he found his own path—track and cross country. In that moment, I saw the man he was becoming. When he said he wanted to compete in college, I built NXT Level—not just for him, but for every family navigating this journey alone.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the athletes who are overlooked and unheard. Today’s recruiting landscape is changing, and too many families feel lost. I wake up every day driven to give them clarity, opportunity, and hope. If I can change one athlete’s path and one family’s future, that impact keeps me going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it to expand NXT Level’s reach and impact. I’d hire athletes we’ve helped to become mentors, creating a cycle of guidance and leadership. This investment builds opportunity, real-world experience, and a support system that helps the next generation succeed—on and off the field.
