Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is the idea of building something real from nothing. Anyone can talk about ideas, but very few people actually create systems that produce value in the real world. I study founders who started with no connections, no money, and no safety net and still built companies that changed industries, such as Jan Koum, who went from food stamps to building WhatsApp with relentless focus and simplicity. What inspires me is not their success, it is their obsession with execution.

How do you stay motivated?

Honestly, I'm rarely motivated. Motivation is unreliable and disappears the moment things get difficult. The real key is discipline. I treat progress like a system, not a feeling. There are days where I do not feel like building, thinking, or working, but the work still gets done because the standard stays the same. I focus on showing up consistently and executing even when it is boring or uncomfortable. Over time, that discipline compounds into results that motivation alone could never produce.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Move Rivex from small-batch sales to a true ecommerce brand by launching a full online store with integrated shipping and inventory systems. Scale manufacturing so products stay consistently in stock instead of limited runs, using larger production orders to lower unit costs. Expand into skull caps, training accessories, and apparel already prototyped in my tech packs, and invest in professional packaging and content to transition Rivex from event sales to a scalable direct-to-consumer brand.
