Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my father, who showed me the value of hard work and entrepreneurship at a young age. Watching him work for himself taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, and believing in your vision. I’m also inspired by everyday small business owners who build something from nothing. Their perseverance reminds me that success comes from staying committed, adapting, and continuing to grow no matter the obstacles.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping my long-term vision in mind and remembering why I started. Building my business from the ground up has taught me to stay disciplined, even when progress feels slow. I also stay motivated by setting small goals, celebrating wins, and reminding myself that consistency creates growth. Seeing my ideas turn into real experiences for customers keeps me inspired to keep going and continue improving.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I would invest in equipment, inventory, and marketing to help scale RLC Decor Lifestyle. Funds would go toward production supplies, upgraded pouring equipment, and larger fragrance inventory to meet demand for pop-ups, corporate workshops, and online orders. A portion would support branding, website improvements, and advertising to grow sales. This investment would help increase capacity, reach new customers, and strengthen long-term business growth.
