Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Fellow veterans inspire me—their grit and brotherhood. As a mechanic, I fix things, but I’ve seen too many vets battle mental health alone after service. ValhallaWI comes from Viking halls where warriors gathered, shared stories, raised horns, and lifted each other up. It’s about creating that space for real connection and smiles today. Daymond John’s drive to build businesses with heart and give back motivates me too—turning a simple idea into lasting impact

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated picturing a veteran who feels alone walking into ValhallaWI—finding friends, raising a horn, talking openly with no judgment. My own time in service, seeing brothers struggle, keeps me grinding. Late nights in the shop or planning the hall, small wins like a donation or kind word recharge me. Knowing this space could help vets smile again and fight isolation pushes me forward—quitting isn’t an option when lives hang in the balance.

What would you do with the $25,000?

$25,000 goes right to launching ValhallaWI in Ozaukee County:, toward land/site costs or permits to secure a spot, for initial build-out (foundation, basic utilities, or modular structure), and for startup gear like mead-making supplies, tables/chairs, and veteran program materials. This gets us from dream to doors open—creating a real gathering place where vets can connect, share stories, and support each other’s mental health and well-being.
