Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Ponder Beauty was inspired by a vision from God, who I see as the CEO while I steward the assignment. I believe the ideas entrusted to me are unique and purpose-driven. Freshly, Yinka Ogunbiyi, founder of HaloBraid, has inspired me through her ability to build without a blueprint through hard work and execution. Ultimately, underserved communities heavily influenced and shaped the mission of Ponder Beauty.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by understanding that Ponder Beauty is not about me but about fulfilling an assignment. I believe God is using this work to impact people through beauty and purpose. During my lowest moments, simply waking up each day reminded me that my work is not finished. That perspective keeps me focused on serving others and completing the mission placed before me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 will be added to existing funds to purchase a commercial step van. This vehicle will support in-house delivery operations while also serving as a mobile marketing tool and pop-up shop. It will expand Ponder Beauty’s operational capacity, increase visibility, and allow the business to better reach and serve the communities.
