Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my ancestors. My great granddaddy, born a slave, later purchased over 60 acres of land and farmed it to provide for his family. His son, my grandpa, whom I remember well, also bought 96 acres and used it to farm and barter. They may not have called it entrepreneurship, but they built legacy, stability, and opportunity from the ground up.

How do you stay motivated?

My children and my strong desire to leave a lasting legacy—just like my great granddaddy and granddaddy—keep me motivated. I stay driven by setting clear, defined, and achievable goals. I also review my vision board daily, which keeps me focused, inspired, and aligned with the future I’m working to build.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Receiving the $25,000 will help me grow my business by hiring a full-time virtual assistant and a field trainer for my agents. The assistant will support recruiting and agency growth, positioning me to reach the next level of Junior Board Member by December 2026.
