Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration was born in my grandmother’s kitchen, where baking was treated like an act of love and faith. She taught me that the atmosphere matters as much as the ingredients. Through Simply Desserts, I honor that legacy by creating desserts that bring joy, comfort, and connection—one sweet moment at a time.

How do you stay motivated?

My children keep me motivated every day. I’m building a legacy they can be proud of—one that shows faith, courage, and hard work. Simply Desserts allows me to pour love into my community while showing my kids that with passion and purpose, you can turn a dream into something that blesses others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would transition Simply Desserts from my home kitchen into a licensed commercial space, allowing me to expand into local cafés, markets, and community events. This investment would help me grow production, strengthen my brand, and create new opportunities. Most importantly, it allows me to build a legacy for my children while sharing joy with every dessert I make.
