Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from resilience, faith, and the desire to create opportunities for others. As a Black woman entrepreneur and owner of SLMP Cleaning Services, I’m motivated to build something meaningful from the ground up. My family inspires me to keep pushing forward, and I hope to show the next generation that with hard work, integrity, and determination, success and legacy are possible.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on my purpose and the bigger picture. As an entrepreneur, I remind myself why I started—to create opportunities, build something meaningful, and leave a legacy for my family. Even during challenges, I stay disciplined, keep learning, and celebrate small wins. My faith, resilience, and commitment to growth keep me moving forward every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I received $25,000, I would invest it into growing my cleaning business. I would purchase professional equipment, hire and train additional staff, and invest in marketing to reach more commercial clients. The goal would be to expand operations, secure larger contracts, and create more job opportunities while building a stronger, sustainable business.
