Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I believe food and agriculture are the core industries supporting human civilization. With a changing climate and declining production, we have less food available for the masses. I am inspired by the idea that we can have a significant impact by focusing on increasing production at the start of the value chain. My goal is to decrease the cost of food and raw materials to impact the economy as a whole, not just for the farmers.

How do you stay motivated?

I’ve found that many farmers don’t have the tools to plan or manage their farms; they usually rely on guesses or following what others do. Large-scale farmers hire agronomists, but others are left behind. I stay motivated by the fact that a simple data tool is the least-costing method with the highest impact compared to buying more land or better tractors. Seeing a tool I built from scratch actually help someone plan what and when to plant keeps me going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The app is already live with Spanish support, so I would use this fund to get the tool into the hands of more farmers for real-world field testing. It is important to me to make sure the advisory is practical and solves their daily problems. The money will also cover my AI infrastructure and API costs. This allows me to provide more detailed planning and disease prevention advice to farmers without them having to worry about the high technical costs of the platform.
