Who or what is your inspiration in business?

One of the most powerful things I have learned is that community changes people. When someone walks into a room where others are doing hard things, they begin to believe they can do hard things too. That shared effort builds resilience, accountability, and lasting change. My inspiration ultimately comes from the people I work with every day: patients who want a second chance at health, athletes discovering their strength, and communities proving that transformation is possible.

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated comes from remembering why the work matters. In Colorado Springs, metabolic disease is affecting thousands of people and families. As a nutritionist, CrossFit coach, and athlete, I see both sides of the story with patients who want to improve their health but don’t know where to start, and communities that have the tools to help but aren’t always connected to healthcare.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would continue launching a clinic-to-community metabolic health program in Colorado Springs that connects healthcare providers with CrossFit gyms, yoga studios, ymca’s and nutrition coaching by referrals. Many patients are told to “exercise more,” but lack access to safe, coached environments where those changes can actually happen. The funding would help remove financial barriers for participants.
