Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by how often people are forced to change direction and still find a way forward. I see it in business, but especially in my kids as they hit roadblocks, adjust, and keep going. It happens every day, yet we rarely talk about it. That’s why I’m building COUNTER as a book and speaking platform to reframe setbacks and show that when one path closes, there’s always another move to make.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by staying in motion. When something doesn’t work, I don’t stop, I adjust and make my next move. Progress isn’t perfect, but it’s powerful. Every step forward builds momentum, and momentum creates change. That mindset is the foundation of COUNTER learning to respond, adapt, and keep going, no matter what stage of life you’re in.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in continuing to build COUNTER into a book and speaking platform, advancing editing, publishing, and brand development already in progress. I’m developing it as a framework for navigating change, setbacks, and the negotiation of what’s next. Funding would accelerate content, audience growth, and speaking opportunities so when life makes a move, more people don’t pause… they counter.
