Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is my wife, whose decisions and support have guided me throughout my journey. Before starting this restaurant, I spent years helping international students choose the right courses and careers, which gave me a deep sense of purpose. My passion for cooking comes from my grandmother, who inspired me with traditional village-style Indian cooking. Today, our restaurant brings those authentic village flavors and Indian cultural cuisine to Canada.

How do you stay motivated?

What keeps me motivated is the joy of feeding people and seeing customers satisfied with the food and experience. At Madhuram, it is very special to see families and large groups coming together to dine regularly. Watching people share meals, celebrate moments, and leave happy gives me a lot of satisfaction and motivation to keep improving every day. It reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I receive $25,000, a portion of it would go toward helping international students who are in need. I understand their struggles because I have spent years guiding students and supporting them in finding the right path, and giving back to that community is very important to me. The remaining amount would be invested in Madhuram to bring more authentic ingredients and traditional cooking methods from India. My goal is to introduce real Telugu flavors and create a place where people living far.
