Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my experience as a nurse and the people I have cared for throughout my healthcare career. My journey from nurse to founder reflects my belief that the people closest to the problems in healthcare are often the ones best equipped to build the solutions.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by staying connected to the purpose behind the work I am building. My background as a nurse showed me how many families struggle to find reliable, safe care for aging parents and adults with disabilities during the day. Remembering those families and the challenges they face reminds me that the work I am doing is not just about building a business—it is about creating a service that can genuinely improve people’s lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to help launch SNS, an adult day program designed to support seniors/adults with disabilities. The funds would primarily be used for facility prep, safety equipment, and essential program furnishings. A portion would support licensing compliance, initial staffing costs, and program supplies needed to begin serving participants. The investment would also help us conduct community outreach and caregiver engagement to enroll our first participants.
