Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My children, Kelendria and Corey, are my biggest inspiration. Every decision I make is about building a legacy they can be proud of and inherit. My faith keeps me grounded when the path gets tough, reminding me that God opened these doors for a reason. I'm also deeply inspired by the Black families and business owners in my community who deserve quality insurance protection but have been overlooked.

How do you stay motivated?

My kids are watching me build, and that alone keeps me pushing through the exhausting days and sleepless nights. My faith keeps me grounded when the overwhelm hits-| know God didn't bring me this far to leave me. I stay motivated knowing that the families I serve depend on the coverage and education I provide. Seeing my brand, "Insurance with Intent. Service with Soul," come to life after all the grinding reminds me why I started.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I'd hire administrative support so I can focus on sales and client relationships instead of backend work. I'd create educational workshops for underinsured communities, teaching financial literacy through insurance. And I'd build a reserve fund to provide stability while I'm growing, so I can make strategic decisions instead of survival ones. This $25k would accelerate my 3-4 year agency ownership timeline and solidify my family's legacy.
