Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from purpose-driven leaders who use their platforms to uplift others and create opportunities for those who feel unseen. As a domestic violence survivor, I understand the power of turning pain into purpose. That journey fuels my work as I build Pushing Positivity Ministries, empowering women through healing, mentorship, and leadership so they can reclaim their voice and rise boldly into their purpose.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated through faith, discipline, and the responsibility I carry as a Black woman to keep moving forward—even when the doors weren’t always built for us. My children are always watching, and I want them to see what resilience, courage, and perseverance look like in real time. Every step forward is about building a legacy they can be proud of.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I will expand Pushing Positivity Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit I am building, by launching mentorship programs, leadership workshops, and healing spaces for women. My mission is to help women reclaim their voice, rebuild confidence, and walk boldly in purpose. When one woman finds her voice, she doesn’t just change her life—she changes generations.
