Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The people I work with every day are my biggest inspiration. I’ve seen what happens when someone is trying to heal but doesn’t have stable housing or access to care. It makes everything harder. That’s what pushed me to create both Anthony’s Safe Haven and We-Are1in4. I didn’t want to just talk about the gaps; I wanted to actually build something that helps fill them.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering that this work is bigger than me. There are people who genuinely need safe, stable environments to even begin healing. On hard days, I remind myself why I started and who I’m doing it for. I also try not to focus too far ahead. I take it step by step and stay grounded in the impact I’m trying to make.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand Anthony’s Safe Haven by securing and setting up another home for individuals transitioning out of unstable situations. This would help cover deposits, furnishings, and basic setup so we can move people in quickly. The goal is to provide not just housing, but a structured, supportive environment where people can stabilize and start rebuilding their lives.
