Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration in business is my own journey. I come from a background where financial literacy wasn’t common, wealth wasn’t passed down, and entrepreneurship wasn’t modeled. Because of that, I’ve had to build everything from the ground up. As a first-generation legacy builder, my motivation is creating the financial foundation that didn’t exist before me. I’m also deeply inspired by the creatives and entrepreneurs I serve.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping God first in everything I do. My faith reminds me that my journey is part of a bigger picture and that the work I’m doing is bigger than me. I’m not just building a business, I’m building impact, opportunity, and legacy. When challenges arise, I remind myself that my mission is to help others gain the financial knowledge and stability that many of us were never taught.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I would invest it directly into expanding the impact of my work. A portion would go toward developing The Hub, an online, self-paced accounting and financial education platform designed to give entrepreneurs access to the financial knowledge they need to sustain and grow their businesses. As well as Profit Pathways, an 18-week financial literacy and business education program that equips minority small business owners with necessary tools to sustain.
