Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my own life experiences and the people I’ve encountered along the way who are fighting to overcome circumstances they didn’t choose. I know what it feels like to face adversity, to be misunderstood, and to still have a vision in your heart for something greater. Those experiences shaped me into someone who believes business can be more than a way to make money — it can be a vehicle for healing, empowerment, and second chances.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I know my purpose is bigger than my obstacles. There have been moments where the road has been difficult, but every challenge has strengthened my resilience and my faith in the work I’m doing. I remind myself that impact doesn’t happen overnight — it’s built through consistency, belief, and courage. The people who benefit from the work of my nonprofit remind me that what I’m building matters.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning $25,000 would be transformational for my nonprofit and the community we serve. It would allow me to expand our programs, provide more resources, and build the infrastructure needed to sustain long-term impact. This funding would help turn a vision rooted in lived experience and compassion into something that can reach even more people who need support, guidance, and opportunity.
