Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the patients and families I’ve cared for as a burn and critical care nurse. I’ve seen how quickly emergencies change lives and how preparation can save them. That inspired me to start Advanced Life Support Training Institute to expand access to CPR and life-saving education. I believe business can improve public health by equipping schools, churches, and communities with the skills and confidence to act when every second matters.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering the real lives behind the work. As a nurse, I’ve seen how preparation and quick action can save someone’s life. That perspective drives me to keep building something meaningful through my business. Knowing that the training and education we provide can empower people to respond in emergencies and protect their communities keeps me focused, disciplined, and committed to making a lasting impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would invest it into expanding Advanced Life Support Training Institute by purchasing high-quality AHA-approved training equipment, manikins, AED trainers, and audiovisual teaching tools. This would allow me to train more students safely and effectively while expanding outreach to schools, churches, and community organizations so more people are equipped with life-saving CPR and emergency response skills.
