Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Growing up, entrepreneurship wasn’t just something I admired—it was something I lived every day. My inspiration comes directly from my parents, who both built businesses with their own hands and determination. My mother was one of the first women in our community to own her own beauty salon and nail shop in the 1980s. At a time when it wasn’t common for women—especially women in our community—to run businesses, she stepped out on faith and made it happen. I watched

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering where I come from and the example my parents set for me. Watching them build and run their own businesses taught me the value of hard work, persistence, and believing in yourself even when things are challenging. I remind myself that every step forward is part of building something bigger than myself. My motivation also comes from wanting to create opportunities, build a legacy, and show others that with determination and faith, anything is possible.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded the $25,000, I would use it to invest directly into building and growing my business. I would put the funds toward essential resources such as equipment, marketing, and business development so I can expand my reach and serve more people. I would also use part of the investment to strengthen the foundation of the business by improving operations and creating opportunities for long-term growth.
