Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business was to show my children that even after years of working in corporate, it was possible to become an entrepreneur. I never wanted to be an entrepreneur before because of fear and uncertainty, but after being laid off a number of times over the years, it was time for me to step out and do things that I believed in. That way, I could continue the lifestyle that I wanted to have, as well as be able to continue volunteering and help people more in my small way.

How do you stay motivated?

Honestly, it’s hard. This is a path I’ve never been on before and not everyone around understands or can offer advice. So I latch on to the positive feedback and energy I receive and that helps me take the next step. Even this completion was a stretch in my mind because I’m just an average person doing average things. But I have a few STRONG supporters who are encouraging me to “own my greatness and realize the awesome impact I’ve had and continue to have on others

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the money to solidify the infrastructure of one of my businesses and donate to one of the charities I support-Move-In Day Mafia. I don’t have a lot, but I try to share it as much as I can. That’s what my mom always did.
