Who or what is your inspiration in business?

God is my foundation, my children are my daily motivation, and my community is my assignment. I’m inspired to build more than a business—I’m building a legacy that creates opportunities, restores confidence, and shows what’s possible when purpose, faith, and strategy come together.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering that what I’m building is bigger than me. My faith keeps me grounded, my children keep me focused, and my purpose keeps me moving. Even in difficult seasons, I know I’m called to create impact, serve others, and build something that will outlive me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand B.O.S.S.Y. Braids into a full-service salon by securing land and a building, purchasing equipment, and creating jobs. This space will serve my community, support my family, and reflect my mission to build with purpose—creating both economic opportunity and a place where people feel seen, valued, and empowered.
