Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I lost my mom in January 2026 after a five-year battle with cancer. She was my biggest supporter and believed in my photography more than anyone. This season has tested me deeply, but she continues to inspire me to keep going, to grow, and to build something she would be proud of. Everything I create now is, in part, for her.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the bigger picture. Photography started as a passion in high school and grew into a career I am incredibly grateful for. I am driven to keep building a successful business, create a meaningful legacy for my future family, and use my work to make a real impact, especially through helping rescue animals find homes.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would open my first storefront studio. After over 10 years of experience working from a home studio, this would allow me to expand my business, better serve my clients, and create a dedicated space for my work. It would also give me the opportunity to photograph more rescue animals and support local rescues by helping pets get adopted.
