Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I watched how the system has failed so many times. This is how we can change things, by empowering people and struggling youth with emotional regulation, resources, practical skills, entrepreneurship, and a loving community to support them.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because every day I remember the people I’ve seen change and grow through just kindness and someone believing in them. And my own experience with implementing new things to a community of women in prison for 3 months this and watching their lives change. Those women keep me motivated and the thought of helping other people break these cycles helps me stay motivated. The image of a better world for my son and all children in the future helps me stay motivated. The people.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would get quality workbooks printed, I would use it to get art and music supplies that facilitators could use for art and music projects with the people who join the movement. So many things I could do, like hold event group healing spaces in venues and provide refreshments to get our name and mission into the community space stronger and more welcoming to more potential clients. Also, doing leadership classes to teach future mentors the information so they can pass it on
