Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I learned to braid by watching my cousin and family how to braid since the prime age of 13, learn the craft on through stiling my brothers hair, taught myself all the braiding styles and techniques and became better at it. Later down the line I turned the love of braiding into a business. I went back to school and graduated as a hairstylist to learn the insind outs of all hair types and styles.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping up with the latest trends, that helps me to stay in the game, stay inspired and remember why I started this business, which is to have a braiding school. Hence the name of my business which is called KNS braiding lab and university. I want to be able to provide skills of all ages and races that can confidantly braid on a professional level and love what they do and create.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would open a small school or storefront that again will provide services of braiding and schooling to those who want to learn to braid on a professional level. During my hairstyling program they did not cater to 4c hair types or provide us with throughly knowledge and learning in this filed which is what I initially wanted or was looking for when I decided to enroll into hairstyling.
