Born from my own lifelong struggle with wavy hair, The Frizz Girls is a children’s book series that helps girls ages 5–13 learn how to love and care for their wavy or curly hair—giving parents the guidance they wish they’d had and kids the confidence to embrace their natural beauty.
How do you stay motivated?You can't teach what you don't know. As someone who was never taught how to take care of their own wavy hair as a child, I had to figure it out and didn't really understand what I was doing until I was an adult. I don't want kids to struggle like I did.
What would you do with the $25,000?Bulk offset printing, apply for distribution services, order more hair accessories that are branded with The Frizz Girls, register my brand for a Trademark license, vendor events and advertising
