Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from helping people. We saw a real problem - so many job boards, yet a disconnect between food service employers and candidates, so we set out to solve it. I speak with employers every day to understand their struggles and build Swob with real feedback. Our customers are truly the co-founders of the business. And as a mom of two young children, they inspire me to work harder than ever and build something they can one day use and be proud of.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by seeing the real impact of what we’re building. When someone gets a job through our platform, or when I talk to employers and you can see their faces change as they start to understand how they can hire better, it's incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about selling Swob. We spend a lot of time educating employers and telling the story of how hiring can be done differently. We want to actually make a change in the industry. And of course, my children.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25K, we would invest directly into building what our customers are asking for. We have a roadmap of features shaped by real employer feedback, so a portion would go toward development to continue improving the platform. The other part would go toward attending more restaurant shows across the U.S., allowing us to connect face-to-face with operators, learn from them directly, and keep building Swob alongside the people we’re serving.
