My own birth and the stories of 100+ mothers inspires Mother&’s mission. Their resilience and urgent need for dignified, personalized care drive me to create safe, respectful birth spaces that honor women’s choices and preferences. A survey I conducted validates the concept and underscores strong demand.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by the growing gap in obstetric access, OB closures and overwhelmed systems, and by mothers who want personalized care. Knowing we can meet them where they are, restore choice, and build for mothers keeps me focused and persistent.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the funds for architect concept drawings for the building I'm purchasing, allowing us to move forward now instead of waiting 6+ months. This accelerates design, site planning and early permitting so we can open the birth space sooner for expectant mothers.
