Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the people and experiences that shaped me growing up, losing loved ones, and learning to turn pain into purpose. Art helped me heal, and that became the foundation of The Hyangle. I’m inspired by the idea that creativity can transform lives and give people a new perspective.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay grounded and motivated by remembering why I started. Art saved my life and gave me a healthy way to process grief, trauma, and stress. When I see people open up during a Hyangle art session or connect with a painting, it reminds me the work matters. Building something meaningful for my community keeps me focused and moving forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the funds into expanding The my studio and my art therapy programs in downtown San Diego. The money would help purchase materials, hire facilitators, and host more workshops that combine abstract painting, breathwork, and journaling. My goal is to make creative healing accessible and build a space where art, wellness, and community come together.
