Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by originality, resilience, and places that leave a lasting impression. I’ve always believed business should be more than business. It should create an experience, build community, and offer something people cannot find anywhere else. Jacksonville inspires me, and being part of this city means creating opportunity by hiring from the neighborhood, especially people who can walk, bike, or bus to work.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by growth, creativity, and the people who keep showing love year after year. When you build something that becomes part of a city’s culture, you do not take that lightly. I am motivated by the chance to keep evolving, keep improving, and keep giving people an unforgettable experience every time they walk through the doors.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it back into the business, the space, and the experience. I would use it to make meaningful improvements, support the team, and continue building on what has made Kickbacks such a unique and iconic part of Jacksonville. My goal has always been to keep creating something memorable for the city and for everyone who visits from near and far.
