Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration in business has always been my mother. As a lifelong business owner, she showed me dedication, resilience, and the importance of serving the community. She believed in my vision, helped shape the business plan, and provided the initial support to get started. Although she has passed, her guidance and work ethic remain with me. I’m committed to growing Tribe Wellness and honoring the foundation she helped build.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the legacy my mother left and the family I’ve built with my husband. Watching my mother pursue her dreams inspires me to keep going. Now, my greatest motivation is creating a meaningful future for my family. Their love and strength remind me daily why building and growing Tribe Wellness truly matters.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would invest in increasing production of my handmade coconut and soy candles to meet demand while maintaining quality. I’d also improve sustainable packaging and branding, invest in marketing and website growth to expand online sales, and purchase inventory and booth equipment for farmers markets. A portion would support developing new wellness products using aromatherapy and gift sets, helping Tribe Wellness grow while promoting intentional self-care in the community
