Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Following the model of LVMH and Kering Group, Im looking to create a consortium of luxury fashion brands under one umbrella. Starting with HEED NYC and now looking to purchase a luxury eyewear manufacturer, this is just the start of building out an empire to leave a legacy for my family. I feel strongly that anything is impossible and I feel my goals are attainable with hard work and dedication.

How do you stay motivated?

As a Black man from Newark, I’ve often been told what I couldn’t do. I didn’t grow up surrounded by doctors, lawyers, or business leaders. Most of my family struggled just to get by. That reality drives me. I’m building something bigger not only for myself, but to show my sons that where you start doesn’t define where you can go. With vision, discipline, and relentless work, anything is possible.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would reinvest the $25,000 directly into operations for the Italian eyewear manufacturing company I recently took over. Our operating costs are about $20K per month, primarily for employees and production. This capital would help stabilize operations while I secure additional wholesale partnerships and distribution deals. The goal is to scale the company to €3M in revenue this year and €5M by 2027.
