Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my daughters and my desire to show them that it’s never too late to build something meaningful. After years of supporting my family and working in healthcare, I’m now pursuing my own ideas and inventions. Entrepreneurs like Daymond John inspire me because they prove that with vision, hard work, and persistence, anyone can create opportunities and solve real problems.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my purpose. After years of helping others succeed, I’m now building ideas that solve real problems and create opportunities for my family and community. My daughters remind me every day that perseverance matters. Even when challenges arise, I stay focused on the bigger vision turning innovation into something meaningful that can inspire others to believe in their ideas too.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning the $25,000 would allow me to move my ideas from concept to reality. I would invest in prototyping, product development, and early manufacturing so I can properly test and refine my innovations. The funding would also help with patent protection and market validation. Most importantly, it would give me the opportunity to build a sustainable business that creates solutions and inspires others to pursue their ideas.
