Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

After leaving the travel industry when COVID shut the world down, I watched my blind friends become even more isolated as life moved online. I’ve always believed everyone deserves to feel included and experience joy—so I founded the Blind Muse Foundation, creating audio-described films and shared experiences that bring blind and sighted communities together.

How do you stay motivated?

By turning barriers into opportunities for inclusion. Through the Blind Muse Foundation, I create spaces where blind individuals are seen, heard, and valued—from filming a play performed by blind actors to leading conversations that bridge communities. As a licensed Red Cross training provider, I deliver accessible CPR/First Aid trainings led by a blind instructor, and published an inclusive First Aid book now being translated into Braille.

What would you do with the $25,000?

As an advocate for people with disabilities, I see how gaps in awareness, access, and funding limit independence and inclusion. With $25,000, I will expand programs that communicate, educate, and connect communities—training youth leaders, supporting older adults with vision loss, and growing accessible initiatives like inclusive CPR training. This funding will help build a more informed, connected, and inclusive world.
