Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mom, Nancy Baer, was my original inspiration, as she was the founder of our business in 1995. A Canine Experience began as a dog trainers' school after leaving a large training facility and she taught me how to run the course. I have since modified the course to become Adaptable Training Methods for K9's (ATM4K9s) and have built criteria into the program for certification. I stay inspired by working with a variety of successful business professionals and my family.

How do you stay motivated?

The people I help live more fulfilled lives by helping them train their own service dog keep me motivated, especially Veterans. I am full of ideas and work with Sherry Boyer with Cx and Rudy Mawer's Mastermind to keep propelling those ideas forward, so we can leverage our time to help improve the lives of exponentially more people with disabling conditions like Diabetes, Seizures, Crohn's Migraines, PTSD, POT's, anxiety, autism, mobility and panic attacks.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Invest it into our Service dog program so we can grow it to help more people by providing supplemented in-person workshops to correspond with our hybrid online service dog course that we are preparing to launch June of 2026. I would like to build a at home kennel space so I can accommodate and train 2-3 service dog projects that can be placed with people who are unable to train their own dog and provide the support they need to benefit from a service dog.
