What is Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy inspiration for Trina’s Treasures comes from my mentor, Lorraine Johnson Brotsky. She shaped not only my technical skills in costume design, but also my appreciation for the storytelling and detail behind every piece. Through her mentorship, I learned that costumes are more than garments—they are essential to bringing characters and performances to life.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by seeing the impact Trina’s Treasures has on performers and the community. Helping bring characters to life and supporting local theatre and dance keeps me inspired. I also stay driven by setting goals, continuing to learn, and building a sustainable business that reflects my creativity and passion.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 to grow Trina’s Treasures by expanding costume inventory and materials, upgrading sewing equipment, and improving storage and organization systems. A portion would support building a professional website and booking platform, along with targeted marketing to reach more theatre and dance clients. This funding would strengthen operations, increase accessibility, and support sustainable growth.
