I’m a creative soul by heritage. My grandmother, Mamie Morrow, instilled in me at a young age, the craft of baking.

What is Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy grandma, Mamie Roberson-Morrow, taught me how to bake. With her southern upbringing in Heflin, Louisiana, she taught me how to take pleasure into baking and making people happy with sweet treats.
How do you stay motivated?I continuously hear my grandma’s voice telling me to keep going and I recall that smile. My daddy, the late John Nunn, and my brother, the late Tedrick Nunn, are also my motivations. I named my company after my brother because upon his untimely death, I didn’t bake much. However, when he passed, I used that grief and sadness to start baking again. He loved sweets and we would often fight over the last piece of cake or pie. My daddy loved my pound cakes and was the best promoter.
What would you do with the $25,000?Set up my on-line bakery and professional advertising and marketing to start baking and selling pound cakes. Go back to my hometown, Holly Grove, Arkansas, and set up a bakery. Give back to my community by having a monthly workshop to teach the youth the fundamentals of baking and enjoying it.
