Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the patients I have met throughout my healthcare career. After more than 15 years in dermatology and specialty pharmacy, I saw how many patients struggled to access life-changing biologic treatments due to insurance barriers. Those experiences motivated me to create VC BioAdvocate Consulting, where I help practices navigate prior authorizations and ensure patients receive the care they deserve.

How do you stay motivated?

stay motivated by remembering why I started. Throughout my career I have seen patients struggle to access the medications they desperately need. Knowing that my work helps practices and patients overcome those barriers keeps me focused. Every approval, every success story, and every relationship I build with providers reminds me that persistence and dedication can truly make a difference in healthcare access.

What would you do with the $25,000?

awarded the $25,000, I would invest in expanding VC BioAdvocate Consulting to help more medical practices and patients navigate prior authorizations for specialty medications. The funds would support technology, training, and outreach to dermatology and specialty clinics so we can streamline access to biologic treatments and reduce delays that prevent patients from receiving life-changing care.
