Who or what is your inspiration in business?

It's the everyday entrepreneur who builds something from nothing. The founders working late after their kids go to bed, navigating uncertainty while still choosing to bet on themselves. That resilience inspired me to create LeadHer Magazine. Documenting and amplify the real journeys of women building boldly. While we hear from icons like Reese Witherspoon, Vera Wang, and Martha Stewart, I believe the women still in the mess middle of the journey deserve the spotlight too. From relatable women.

How do you stay motivated?

By remembering why I started. Entrepreneurship is full of doubt and uncertainty, but I believe deeply in creating visibility and opportunity for female founders. I’m building LeadHer Magazine to open doors and change the narrative. My goal is to bring LeadHer headquarters to Ann Arbor, build a true ecosystem for women entrepreneurs, and challenge the 2% funding statistic by helping women gain more access, resources, and influence.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into scaling LeadHer Magazine. The funding would allow me to complete our April issue, launch a digital (initially) subscription platform, and begin building a small team focused on marketing, PR, and partnerships. From there, we would run targeted ads across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to grow to 2,000 digital subscribers creating the revenue foundation needed to sustainably expand into print distribution.
