Inspired by my immigrant parents' tireless resilience, I built Sol Dias to mirror their work ethic. Being from Mexticacán, Jalisco, the birthplace of paletas, filled me with a deep sense of cultural duty. I founded my business to share the sweetness of Mexico, create real economic opportunity, and unite our community through tradition. I am driven by the goal of evolving a childhood passion into a scalable business that celebrates and sustains my heritage.

How do you stay motivated?

My internal motor to grow is always on. When it slows down, I remember my immigrant parents’ journey and their sacrifices. Their grit fuels my 'Power of Broke' mentality—proving that resourcefulness outweighs resources. I stay motivated by my wife & five children & the desire to build a legacy we are all proud of. What would you do with the $25,000?

​​We’d invest the $25K to scale operations & brand awareness. $12K funds a liquid pumping system to replace manual labor, boosting production 40%, cutting COGS 22%, & paying for itself in 45 days. The remaining $13K scales our most successful marketing strategy: giving away 10,000 mini paletas & 2,000 branded plush toys at community events.
